The Brief:

The India Society of Worcester organized a fundraising gala at a premier venue that raised over $400,000. Aptus was tasked with creating a unique souvenir brochure that reflected both the India Society and the gala in its design.

  • Souvenir brochures at events tend to be the opposite of their intention- they are forgettable and get discarded soon after the event. For the India Society of Worcester’s Grand Gala, we imagined the opposite. We looked to the India center for inspiration, and saw  that a central aspect of the design was decorative lattices.

  • After seeing how prominent and striking the lattice motif was in the center, we used the exact lattice pattern and placed it in panels in the shape of a traditional royal Indian door.

  • Each  copy was individually personalized to the donor. The personalized brochures were pre-packaged by table and seat number, for the easiest possible distribution before the event.

  • With distinctive micro-easels, each souvenir became part of  the centerpiece, reducing cost and clutter on the tables.

A simple brochure becomes a unique souvenir.
